Travel Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Float Pool

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience:

• At least 1 year in ICU setting.
• RNs required to titrate drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, -Dobutamine, Insulin. Travelers must be comfortable managing the majority of these drips.
• Nurses must be able to interpret strips.

Required Credentials:

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit and facility details: Nurse Patient Ratios: PCU 1:4 MedSurg Tele 1:5-6.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirements: Every Other.
• Holiday Requirements: Will include travelers in perm staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: Units included in the float pool: ICU, MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses and would include inpatients holding in ED. East Campus is Campus 2. East Campus NextCare is 10 bed double occupancy has ICU and stepdown patients, West campus Stepdown is 14 rooms (double occupancy), average census is 20. West med tele is 95 beds, divided into 4 areas. MedSurg is broken down into 10-room pods, double occupancy. First to Float.
