Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neurology Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Neuro Med-Surg Acute

Required Skills and Experience: Must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit. RNs required to titrate drips. Must have heparin gtt experience.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: With weekend and holiday rotation. Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend both shifts. Holiday Requirement: Every other.

Floating Requirements: Float in rotation with rest of staff. General unit traveler floats to general unit floor - takes full team. If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do & be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit.
