Travel Allied (Respiratory Therapist) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Block Schedules: No

On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement, every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected

Float between Adult and NICU

2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU

ED experience preferred

Traveler will be doing the following: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation

Scrubs: Not provided; scrub color: ceil blue

No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Address must match DL when determining local status

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
