Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Previous Employment Requirements:* Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

High Risk Antepartum, High Risk Labor, OB Triage

3 OR suites on unit, 2 bed PACU on unit

Special Requests: No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: 36 hours or 48 hours
