Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Additional Details:

Prefer 2 years, but willing to consider 1.5 years of M/S experience for quality candidates.

Required to float to MS and MS/Tele.

Work 50% of holidays that fall within contract.

50% of weekends on contract required

RTO not granted for holidays but will work with traveler on which holidays they want to work to meet their 50% requirement.

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Orientation Hours: 24

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 35

Patient Diagnoses:

• Diabetes complications
• COPD exacerbation
• ETOH/drug withdrawal
• Renal Failure
• Cellulitis

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

• Floor status patients
• Some video monitoring rooms & sitter rooms

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- No exceptios

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.
