Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills: Urinary catheter insertion/management, Assist/manage intubation, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of gastric tubes, PICU

Preferred Skills: Acute/chronic renal failure, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antiarrhythmics, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Use of Broselow system, Assist/maintain chest tube, BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, ICP monitoring, Infection control/PPE, Vaccine Administration, Wound assessment/care, Insulin administration, IV Insulin Pumps, NG tube insertion/management, Post acute abdominal surgery, Isolation Precautio

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Floating Requirements: Will float to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed.

Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.

Floating is a requirement for most positions and a point of emphasis for Nationwide, travelers must be prepared to float to different units depending on the assignment.
