Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Yes - Radiology

Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General CT examinations (head, neck, chest, abd/pelvis, extremity) and general Xray.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 2 year of CT experience. Must be comfortable floating toXray as needed; Overnight tech will be expected to cover both Xray & CT.

Do they have to start IV's?: Preferred.

Shifts & Scheduling: Dept is open 24/7/365; Typical Shifts are 7-3:30, 3-11, 10:30-7. Schedule is made out by dept leadership, travelers are asked to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.

Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd Weekend.

Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: No requirement. Black is general color.

Department specific orientation: 1 Day General Orientation, 3-5 Shifts with Preceptor, Manager will check in to ensure comfort level.
