Required Skills/Experience: -Will you accept a first-time traveler? If traveler has wound care experience prior to traveling -General wound care background is a must, Wound Vacs, Nurse Level Debridement, Perform ABIs, Cast cutting
Types of Patients on Unit: Inpatient/Outpatient/HBO/Ostomy – manager discretion on type of experience traveler has Wound Care patients: Very large variety of patients with wounds of various causes included but not limited to diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.
Unit Details: Typically: 1 patient/hour – dependent on complexity -Free Parking: Yes
Required Credentials: Below agencies are approved for Accreditation – please do not decline travelers with certifications from other agencies, until approved by Management, as they may also be acceptable. American Board of Wound Management (ABWM); National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO); Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB)
Floating Requirements: Can float from inpatient to outpatient
