Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Tele experience

Required Credentials:

• Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts), within 48 hours of offer. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months for both CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions.

• There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months.

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule (Nights - Fri, Sat).

• One major and minor holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Float to MedSurg Tele B2C and B2D.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
