Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Preferred 21 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 6 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred -Preferred Skills: Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required

Floating Requirements: floating between icu and imcu required -Floating: All RNs are expected to float to their capacities in their hospitals, IMCU can float to M/S, ICU can float to IMCU, M/S can float M/S units. Be prepared to float based on census and acuity. Some IMCU may float to ER Hold

Registry Float Positions for Community Foundation of Northern Indiana candidates will be required to float to all 3 facilities (CH, SCH and SMH)
