Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Must work at least 2 weekend shifts every 2 weeks.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

-Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

-2 years ER experience in main ER .

-Experience working in designated trauma facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

-Experience working in a Freestanding ER, Paramedic License/Certification

-Experienced with running lab equipment (Picolo, Istat, Triage Meter, ID Now, Clinitek)

Unit Details: 9 Beds

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

-Chest Tubes Placement, Intubations, Conscious sedations, Wound repair

-Splinting using Orthoglass, Nebulizer treatment, Ventilator

Equipment Used on Unit: Lucas Device, Nurse run Lab, Ventilator, CPAP/BiPap, Blanketrol, Lifepack 15
