Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays: 1 Major, 1 Minor. Major RN holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Yrs. Major Tech holidays: Christmas and New Years

Ratios: 1:1 close to delivery, 1:2 otherwise, 1:4 couplets on postpart

Technology Used on Unit: FHM System: Obix fetal monitoring

Required Skills/Experience: C-section experience required: Yes- scrub, recovery, and circulate experience required for L&D

Floating Requirements: PP-no unless NICU background for feeder/grower, L&D to postpartum. Typically, don't work interchangeably

Types of Patients on Unit: Deliver down to 23 wks, some high risk- Antepartum, HTN, plan to tx out if known cardiac abnormality. Have perinatology support
