All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Will position float between units: Yes Note: just to help out with skills when no patients on L&D, answer phones, IV starts, no patient assignments in other areas. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
Call Required: Yes Note: max once per pay period
Are weekends required? Yes every other to every third
Weekend Coverage: Every Other
Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Evenly dispersed with all nurses.
Special requirements: In this position the nurse is responsible for all phases of care. labor, postpartum and care for the neonate.
