Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Credentials: Completion of ECG Course and challenge test, Must take and pass with 80% or above, an ECG Test (test is open note)

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 1 tech to 48 patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Shifts & Scheduling: shift times are 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700 for 8s, and 0700-1900 and 1900-0700 for 12s. Schedule 72 hours per 2 weeks pay period. Can do 40 hours one week and 32 hours the next, or work one 12-hour shift and three 8-hour shifts for 36 each week. There is an opportunity to pick up additional shifts through self-scheduling.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other.
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other.
