Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits
Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week
Shift Notes cardio experience preferred. day/night rotating. 2 weekends in a 4 week schedule.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Congenital Heart Program, DKA, Respiratory, Neurosurgery, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, G-Tubes.
Shifts & Scheduling 7a-7p; 7p-7a (They do self-scheduling & it is possible to do block scheduling as long as the needs of the unit are met. The Scheduling team balances the schedule.
Weekend Requirement 2 weekends in a 4 week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun are all considered weekend shifts for both day or night shifts).
Holiday Requirement Yes - Travelers would be expected to work holidays if needed & will be worked into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule. Is there a call or standby requirement? No call requirement.
Floating Requirements Yes - Floating within children's (L&D, NICU, & Acute Peds) Travelers would be expected to take normal ratios for whatever unit they float to. Scrub Color/Dress Code Royal Blue w/ fun scrub tops (Kid Friendly) No t-shirts
Unit/Department specific orientation EPIC training, NSO, Competencies and equipment review with Clinical Preceptor, 3 shifts in PICU with a mentor.
