Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

The facility is not accepting new travelers. Submissions must have completed at least one travel contract.

Guaranteed Hours Work Week: 36HR's per week - Hours not guaranteed week of orientation or during the holidays where the unit is closed.

Every other holiday

Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)/holiday

No block scheduling

Float Requirements : Must float to MSO and Ortho units, potential to float to ICU to care for non-critical patients

On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Charting Experience: EPIC required

Unit description: 37 bed unit. Step-down, cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical stepdown nurse

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Education: Associate Degree or Certificate
