Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

Floating Requirements: Will be working the IMCU floor and will float to MS

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend minimum required, needs to be flexible, holidays required, E/O Monday to Sunday

Types of Patients on Unit:

  • Patient population: COPD, CHF, diabetes, cellulitis, age range 10-100. RNs start IV’s, give medications, do shift assessments, they work closely with nurse aides who perform ADLS and EKGs when needed. small rural hospital.

Special Requests:

  • No block schedules for any reason
