Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekends Every Other

*Orientation Bi-Weekly.

PALS or ENPC.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

• Weekend Hours: Rotate every other.

• Call Requirements: Push back hours depending on census.

• Float Requirements: Helping hands in areas they have competencies.

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Birth to death

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Good patient experience skills with pts/families, critical care thinking, stamina we are fast paced.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Fast paced ED, experience with strokes, STEMI’s and trauma.

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: everything.

• Scrub Color: any at this time.

• Any unacceptable attire: hoodies, inappropriate t shirts, etc.
