Additional Details:
Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.
Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
Schedule:
No set day off
Every Other Weekend
Every Other Holiday.
As a teaching hospital, everyone post orientation period is eligible to be a preceptor if needed.
Required:
2+ years PACU, ICU, or ED Telemetry post sedation experience
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass Tele test on day 1 with 85% or better.
Preferred Experience:
ICU, ER, PACU
Familiarity with GI procedures
