The facility has a tardy policy: If clinicians are more than 15 minutes late, the facility has the option to no longer use their services.

The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing, consulting and treating patients with communicative or swallowing disorders of referred patients

Need School and PEDS exp of at least 2 years

Monday to Friday.

Is spent between SCAHC and SCUSD (San Carlos Unified School District). The school calendar is August – May; then Summer School in June; no school in July; new academic year begins in annually in August.

Approximately, the SCUSD holiday dates are and are nto working 2025 September 1: Labor Day October 14: Indigenous Peoples’ Day November: 8, no school November 11: Veterans Day November 27 and 28: Thanksgiving December: 23-31, Christmas

2026 January 19: MLK Day February 16: President’s Day March: 17-21: Spring Break April 18: No school May 23: last day of academic year. June 1-30th: summer school

Schedule: Mon-Friday: 8:30AM -5PM; 30 minute lunch; 30 minute administrative time (4:30-5PM)

The breakdown between Clinic and San Carlos Schools is as follows:

SLP Clinic tx time: Wednesday afternoon, 1PM-4:30PM and Friday, 8:30AM -5PM

SCUSD: Mon-Tues, Thurs; Weds the schools always have a ½ day schedule. The SLP treats in: pre-k; primary, intermediate, middle, high school and self-contained classrooms.

830AM start.

Housing: a contractor may qualify for on-site housing----but they have to ask for it, complete an application----if housing is available----housing is shared. Rent will be deducted from the person’s pay. NO PETS---If they have a Pet---then SCAHC housing is no available.

Transportation: the schools are nearby (round trip is 5-7 miles). A GSA car is available to request.

At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in Speech-Language Pathology

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited school, required.
