Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
Weekends: Every Other
Weekend Hours: Required
Patient Ratios: Based on AWHONN guidelines for labors, up to four postpartum couplets
Patient Population: Obstetrics, neonate
Must Have Skills/Experience: Labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum
Preferred Skillset/Experience: as above to include special care nursery
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Obstetrics
Required Education: Associates Degree
