Previous cardio/vascular experience - Preferred

RNs still responsible for interpreting/signing strips.
Patient Types: Primarily cardiac (afib, CHF, pre/post cath, open heart waiters); Respiratory/COVID; some renal; some stroke/TIA; some post op; ICU transfers (stepdown).
Typically very short staffed per facility.
PCA support: Regularly schedule 3/day and 2/night. If PCA’s are pulled to sit, the RN assumes care.
Charge RN: Days charge typically has no assignment or 1-2 pts, nights charge has a full assignment

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting - Preferred
