Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

ASN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

PALS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Minimum experience: 12 - 18 months in high acuity cardiac PICU required

Cardiac, high acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred

Unit/Facility Details: 24 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates/infants up to adult congenital patient

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements: Every other

Holidays: Rotate every other

Floating Requirements: Float to NICU and PICU as needed
