Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 36 months of Emergency Department experience.
3 months of experience with RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have a minimum of (2) two years recent RN experience in the specialty that is being applied for in order to be considered, in some cases more exp may be required.

Required Credentials: Conscious sedation certification (Obtained through facility after confirmation)

Special Requests: Maximum of one (1) week RTO, if needed.

15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.

Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.

May be assigned to assist with Covid testing and/or immunization clinics as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift will be scheduled for Night Shift (7p-7a) or Night Shift (7p-7a)

Shifts may change during contract and may need to cover day shift as facility does rely heavily on contractors so as one leaves someone’s shift may change to accommodate their staffing needs. Schedule is typically 7 on, 7 off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.

Holiday coverage required.

Floating Requirements: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc.
