Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Step Down Unit experience is preferred from last 3 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Stepdown unit with Ventilator management, Sedation (Precedex) Drips, Cardiac (Cardizem, Cardene) Drips

6 Months required with Ventilator management, 1 year preferred.

Medical more than surgical patients with pulmonary team assigned to them.

6 weekend days in 6 weeks. Block scheduling not preferred.
