Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 2 years.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years

• Weekend Hours: 36

• Float Requirements: Float to other units when census is low, NOT expected to take any assignments, simply helping hands/watches…etc.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: L&D, mother-baby postpartum, obstetrics/surgical patients, newborn nursery level I

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: OB/LD atleast 2 years

• Type of Patients on Unit: Labor, C-sections, Gyneocology/surgical, postpartum, newborn nursery

• Scrub Color: Any
