Experience

96 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

High School completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Central Sterile Processing Tech III - Required

Shift & Scheduling: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Available shifts: Night (11pm-7:30am) Evening (3pm-11:30pm) Rotating (7am-3:30p, 3pm-11:30pm)

These positions will be rotating weekends and overtime as needed.

Holiday Coverage: Yes

No Call

Required Skills / Experience: Must have 8 - 10 years of solid permanent work experience as CSPT - not from travel.

Knowledge of AAMI standards

Must complete 5 trays/hour

Required Credentials: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam

Must possess one of the following:

Medical instrument processing experience with one year of Central Service hospital experience
Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program with a C or better average
Medical instrument processing experience and currently enrolled as a student in an accredited sterile processing program with a C or better average

Special Requirements: In the interest of expediting your submission, please list the specialties/unit in which you've worked in and all applicable instrumental/tray processing fields you have experience with (Example: General, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Ortho, etc.) on your work history.

Must be able to relocate within 3 - 4 weeks of accepting offer. No Exceptions
