Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Wound treatments/dressings including alginates, autolytic debriding agents, enzymatic debriding agents, foams, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, mechanical debridement, silver products, vacuum assisted closure, wet to damp dressing change, wound cultures, wound vac therapy, symptom management, alteration in skin and mucous membranes, altered mental status, constipation/diarrhea, stomatitis, Braden scale assessment, prevention risk assessment tools adult, prevention risk assessment tools pediatrics, identification and management of risk factors impacting skin integrity, burns 1st–4th degree, cellulitis, edema, hypoalbuminemia, melanoma, necrotic debris, nutritional status, pressure ulcer, venous ulcer, hospital, colostomy care and management, continence skin care management, end stoma, ileostomy care and management, irrigation, mucous fistula, G-tube/J-tube feeding and site care, infection control, isolation precautions, patient/family teaching, neuropathic ulcer assessment, neuropathic ulcer management, peripheral arterial disease—ankle-brachial index (ABI), peripheral arterial ulcer assessment, peripheral arterial ulcer management, pressure ulcer assessment, pressure ulcer management, tunneling, undermining, venous status ulcer assessment, venous status ulcer management, pressure ulcer staging stage I–IV.

Electrical stimulation, growth factors, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, sharp debridement, skin substitutes, depression/anxiety, fatigue/lethargy/weakness, pain management, biofeedback, cystometrogram, electromyography, leak point pressures, manometry, pudendal nerve terminal motor latency, urodynamics, uroflometry, catheters-management and self-care teaching, fecal incontinence program, female/male external catheters, urinary incontinence program, clinic, pediatrics, double barrel stoma, ileal lavage, loop with rod stoma, ostomy equipment selection, J pouch, Kock pouch.

Unit/Facility Details: Wound Care RN - will work out of an office in the main hospital, with wound/ostomy consults placed in our EPIC system and follow up on patients in the units/previous consults etc.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: yes, Every Other

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 0700-1730 with some weekend coverage
