Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Candidate may submit with either PALS or ENPC, but must have one of the two.

Weekend Requirement: One weekend a month

On Call Requirement: Call is midnight - 5AM after shift

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.

Types of patients consist of a wide variety: post-surgical patients, sedated patients, high acuity critical care patients (ventilated, titratable drips, etc.)
