Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Basic Med/Tele skillset: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), general medical/surgical skillset – care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.

Special Requests:

Travelers will work 75% of holidays
RTO: Must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours

Shift & Scheduling:

No call, Every other weekend
Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
36 or 48 hours are available.

Floating Requirements: Within region and scope of practice. Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
