Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept a first-time traveler with CVICU Experience.

Post cardiac assessment, know how to care for circulatory support (IABP, IMPELLA, LVAD, ECMO), titration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medication, interpretation of cardiac waveforms, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Employee Parking Lot

Shift & Scheduling: No call, Every Other Weekend, Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: Within other critical care departments (Ratios: PCU 1/3, MS 1/4)
