Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Shift: Day/Night Rotate - 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly. Will consider block scheduling if unit needs are met.

Weekend Requirement: every other

Holiday Requirement: as needed

Floating Requirements Float to medical and telemetry, someone to assist with strips there, taking medical patients in that area

Nurse Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedure, abdominal surgery (lap appy, bowel resection), bariatrics, medical overflow, Hemo hemovacs and Jp drains frequently, colostomies, No GYN goes to maternity and cardiac MS Tele.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer to have surgical experience, post op, early ambulation experience.

Additional Notes Bedside shift report is an expectation.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.
