Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 36

Shifts & Scheduling: Based on department needs for contracted shift, existing patterns built for traveler schedules

Weekend Requirement: Every Other

Holiday Requirement: depending on department staffing needs

Is there a call or standby requirement? No, extra shifts available not required

Region III: Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: St Anthony Hospital – Gig Harbor, WA; St. Michael Medical Center – Silverdale, WA.

Beds/trauma bays - 56 beds, hall beds will bring this number to 60-70s

Ratios - 1:3, if they are low acuity 1:4

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac, Stroke, Sepsis, DKA, AMS, Respiratory, Abdominal pain, Mental Health

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Will accept a traveler with 1 year of experience in a larger trauma settings.

Required Certification: PALS or ENPC

NO RTO for the will be considered the first full week of a travelers assignment.
