Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Isolation Precautions, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: No more than 4 days of RTO per 6 weeks. Must make time off up at the end of contract. RTO should be included at the time of submission. No time off will be granted during the first of week of the traveler’s assignment.

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within scope if needed.
