Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

Special Requests: No block scheduling

Types of Patients on Unit: May take pediatric patients. Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirement: we typically take 1–2 night calls per week, from 2200 to 0700, Monday through Friday. Weekend call shifts are 12 hours, either 0700–1900 or 1900–0700 on Saturday and Sunday, once or twice per month. Weekend Requirement: Yes. Holiday Requirement: Yes

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience

Previous Employment Requirements: Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.
