Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Community Hospital Experience. Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Medications, Heparin, PCA, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Isolation Precautions, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Cardiovascular, Post Angiogram, Genitourinary/Renal, Plastics, Surgical drains.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Phlebotomy, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Colostomy care and management, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Insulin, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.

Special Requests: Block Scheduling: Case by case. RTO Parameters: Needs to be approved by manager. RTO must be listed at time of submittal.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Must work some weekend shifts. On Call Requirement: None.

Floating Requirements: Float within scope.
