Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Shift and scheduling: 36 hours day/night rotating, Every other weekend, Every other holiday

Preferred skills/experience: experience with MCS highly preferred,

Required skills/experience: expertise in advance heart failure management required, Must have academic medical center experience or experience in a 500+ bed facility.

**Unit details:**Cardiac ICU, supports patients on mechanically circulatory support such as impella, durable VAD, ecmo, IABP, Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:2

Types of patients on the unit: multisystem failure with speciality focus on advance heart failure as well as fresh post op cardiac surgical patients. Bed Count: 16 Census:16

Special Requirements

Need 1 RN manager or director reference.

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are review on a very limited basis).
