12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years’ experience in reprocessing. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Skills: Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Sets/trays assembly, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing, Chemical agents for decontamination, Disinfectants, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Manual cleaning, Proper labeling, Ultrasonic cleaner, Use of Washers/sterilizers.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Acute Hospital OR, Proper labeling, Endoscopes, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, EGD scopes, Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS), Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS), Enteroscopes, ERCP Scopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes, Equipment Documentation, Bariatrics, Cardiac, Ear/Nose/Throat, Endoscopy, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Dental, Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Steam Sterilization Testing/monitoring, Steris Testing/monitoring, Censitrac instrument tracking.

Required Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite https://transportation.wisc.edu/. Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.

Special Requests: RTO: If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Evening, 11:00am-7:30pm, Monday through Friday. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required.
