All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Required Skills/Experience: Skills: CVOR, Cardiovascular, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Emergency management, Fire Safety, Equipment/ Instrumentation/Supplies, Cell saver, Administration of blood & blood products, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Wound Management, TAVR (Transaortic Valve Replacement).
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Shift & Scheduling: Is on-call req: Yes. Weekend req: On call.
Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by.
