Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

You must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of your assignment. If you fail this test twice you will be cancelled.

Two (2) years’ current experience required in a 12-plus bed cardiac critical care and/or intensive care unit required.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Open heart, LVAD, balloon pump experience preferred.

Required Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.

BLS & ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
