Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

CCRN (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/weekend call rotation. Up to 12 call shifts a month, variable with as staffing changes.

Special Requests: Block schedule per Manager's discretion. Please request RTO up front if possible. Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation.

Required Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 years experience. Circulate and Scrub experience. Manager prefers candidates who "can handle both IR and cath lab cases.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Nurses in the SSM system are required to scrub. We do right heart caths, so some familiarity with a pulmonary artery catheter would be required for monitoring.

Equipment Used on Unit: Equipment/Scanner experience: GE, Phillips

Previous Employment Requirements: All clinicians (allied/CNAs/RNs, etc.) cannot work past 1 year as a traveler. A 6 month break must be taken in order to return as a traveler.
