Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 22 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Patient Diagnoses: 30 bed Surgical Progressive Care Vascular and Cardiac Surgery patients CABG Valve TAVR Vascular Stents/Grafts AAA Lower extremity bypass TEVAR/EVAR Carotid stents CEA Post lung transplant

Secondary diagnosis: GI bleed Chronic or acute renal failure exacerbation of airway disease diabetes mellitus pneumonia sepsis heart failure

Equipment Used on Unit:

Special Equipment: arterial lines telemetry chest tubes sheaths pca epidural wound vac JP Drain

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 30

Lower acuity - cardiac

Patients may arrive directly from the OR, post PACU recovery, ED or direct admit from home or clinic

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

Special Requests: Block Schedules: No

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays and some weekends. Rotating holidays.
