Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

ASAP start strongly preferred.

Weekend Hours: 10 weekend shifts per contract.

Additional Notes: Must be flexible for days, mids, nights and there won't be a set schedule of how many days each shift will be scheduled.

Patient Ratios: 1:4

Equipment: Level I infuser, telestroke.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CVA, Ortho-Trauma, Head injury, Isolation Precautions, Triage.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Critical Access experience.

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Acute emergency population; critical access; stabilize and ship for trauma/stemi/stroke/code.
