Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend REQ: (Y/N) 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S.
• Holiday Requirements: Yes, if holiday falls on scheduled days.

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, CVVHD/CRRT, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
• Must have a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past year

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience

Floating Requirements: Will float to MSI units if not needed in the ICU based on greatest need, including ED for inpatient holds.

• Saint Luke’s is a Nicotine free (this includes patches, gum, vape, etc.) Health System – all travelers will be tested upon hire. If found with nicotine in your system, you will be canceled and may be ineligible for re-hire.
• Roles requiring state licensure only: Floating roles must have MO license and is in the process of applying for KS license (+ vice-versa) or must have a compact licensure to apply.

Preferred Credentials: CRRT

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up
