Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

CRRN (Preferred)

Acute Rehab

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities. Work Experience - 2 years clinical experience in any clinical setting or 1 year acute care experience.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Every other weekend requirement

Floating Requirements: Within units in hospital (5 Units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)

Unit Details: Number of Beds: 81 private rooms. Patient Ratios: approximate 1:6/7 Day and 1:8 Night; Each Nurse has a dedicated Tech.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults age 18+ years

Parking: Garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)

Eligibility as Previous/Current Employee: If you are working Per Diem at a Kindred facility you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler. If you are a Full Time Employee with a Kindred facility you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.
