Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Physical Therapy experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a license

  • Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics.
  • Previous Charge Experience.
  • 1 year acute care setting.
  • Acute Care, Assessment, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Arousal and Attention, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Identifying Environmental Barriers, Pain assessment, Sensory response, Skin integrity, Strength testing, Vital Sign monitoring, Documentation, Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long Term Goals, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Time Management, Equipment and Devices, Bed alarms, Call lights, Crutches, Gait belt, Hospital bed, Hoyer lift, Lower extremity prosthetics, Rolling Walker, Sit to stand lift, Sliding boards, Soft/Hard collars, Specialty beds (air mattresses), Standard Walker, Supplemental oxygen delivery, Specialty/Patient Population, Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Teaching Hospital Experience.
  • Community Hospital Experience:
  • LTAC Experience.
  • Adaptive Devices.

Unit/Facility Details:

  • Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this.

Special Requests:

  • Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.
  • RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Please ensure all RTO is for the full 13 weeks for each submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Alternating 8HR Shifts: 07:00-15:30 or 10:30-19:00.
