Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Weekend Requirement: Weekends are shared.

On Call and Block Schedule: No

Floating: NICU, MB or functional elsewhere in facility

Special requirements: Labor and Delivery experience. Antepartum, magnesium and high risk labor patients.

Parking Cost: No Fee

RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved

Must request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler.

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. This can include Charge RNs and Leads.
