Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer 5 years Exp or more in a level 1 Trauma facility. Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: CVVHD/CRRT, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Valve Replacement/Repair, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD).
Required Credentials: RNs will be required to take a pass/fail Tele exam during orientation. Passing score is an 80%. Most RNs are only allowed 1 attempt. If they do not pass, they will be dismissed and canceled from their assignment. ID: Drivers License/State ID.
Preferred Credentials: TCAR.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, every other Holiday. Any call outs must be made up at the end of the assignment.
