Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

18 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Must have 18 months of ICU experience within the last 3 years.

Must have IABP Experience

Must be capable to managing total patient care of ICU patients.

Patients we see in our ICU include Septic shock, post PCI, respiratory failure, overdose, STEMI, NSTEMI, post operative patients.

Must be able to manage drips, vents, art lines

Preferred experience with IABPs, but can train to that.
