Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 Years of Oncology ICC

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float between ICC and ED units as needed.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Sickle Cell Crisis, Fever, Abdominal pain, Uncontrolled pain, Anemia, Nausea, vomiting, dehydration

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Unit Details: Number of Bed 14, Daily Census 14

Equipment Used on Unit: PCA Pump

Previous Employment Requirements:

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
